The start of 2007...

Okay, the past couple of months I've posted on the 11th.....weird. Anyway, I've been battling with some ongoing issues with congestion, so my doctor sent me to an allergist a couple of weeks ago. Turns out I am not allergic to anything! Not even shellfish!!!!! She believes my doctor misdiagnosed me 7 years ago! For seven long years I have stayed away from shellfish. She wanted me to get a blood test to confirm the skin test she did, but of course I didn't do that. I went out to lunch for my friend Tricia's birthday with our friend Nancy and I decided to get daring and have crabcakes. No reaction....so lobster here I come!

December past...

Okay another month has gone by. I need to get into the habit of posting.
Let me catch you up to speed.

-I celebrating my one year anniversary at work on 12/19.
-That same week I was promoted to manage the Accounts Payable Dept. (Big Praise)
-Was surprised by my loving husband at Christmas with a kayak!
-I surprised David with a bass guitar...
-Spent New Year's Eve with our friends Joe and Tammy
-New Year's Eve Danielle quit smoking (another Big Praise)
-January 2nd my baby turned 14!
-This month on the 18th I start another semester at college - an excel course!
-Continuing to work out!
-Volunteering to chaperone and sew costumes for Sarah's color guard.
-Redid our bedroom New Year's weekend - It is Nascar themed, yes I said Nascar...

November past....

Wow, once again I have neglected to post. A lot has happened since my birthday. I was figuring that I would have a surprise party....David threatened me when I gave his two years ago. Just when I was really thinking it wasn't going to happen, the saturday after Thanksgiving David and Tricia got me. What got me even more was that my brother, sister-in-law and nephew were there!!! I had a wonderful time and was delighted to see everyone there to celebrate my birthday, it truly meant so much to me!

That following Monday, Danielle totalled her car. She was okay thank God! So was the other person and people in their vehicle. They were able to drive their van away, not so lucky for Danielle though. She has bought a replacement car on her own "Bertha" which is something you would see on MTV's pimp my ride (pathetic cars to be restored). It is a humbling experience I hope.

This past week I've been sick, however, I received a call from my long lost little brother Christopher. I was so happy to hear from him finally. I lost contact with him and was praying that he would eventally call me. I have his number now and I am hoping he takes me up on our Christmas dinner invite.

That quickly brings you up to the present. I am done my winter semester at school (aced it) and should have more time. There is other things going on but will have to wait to post about those....more to come!

39 for the last day.....

I can say I'm in my thirties today, not tomorrow. For tomorrow brings the dreaded four-o!

Oops! I forgot October...

Well it is now November and I did not post at all in October. I have been very busy at work and really haven't spent much time on line. I will give a brief summary of my October:

1. Went to the Reinassance Faire with David, Sarah and Brian. Had a wonderful time and look forward to going next year.

2. Made homemade applesauce for the first time with the help of my friend Cindy. I plan on making that a yearly thing too!

3. Went on the ladies retreat from Church themed "Chocolate Boutique". Also had a wonderful time and look forward to next year. (I even got to kayak that weekend too, which I love to do!).

4. Trading in my PT Cruiser (no I am not sick) and bought a Jeep Wrangler. I now drive the pickup truck and David drives the jeep.

5. October 31 this year was 25 years since David asked me out!

6. We went to a friends house on halloween and had a fire and handed out candy, hot cocoa which was quite fun.

Now it is two weeks exactly to my 40th birthday...not looking forward to that :(

Catch up time....

Wow, now it is the end of September! School is going great, I'm taking my phys-ed requirement, I picked Weight training and management on Mondays and Wednesday and I absolutely love it! I'm learning alot and hope that I will benefit from this experience and lose some weight and tone my body in the process. On September 20th Sarah's Middle School Color Guard and Band performed at the Phillies game. David and I went down to see Sarah perform, which was very cool! Then last Sunday Tricia and I went to the Dover race. The weather report was very nasty, but God must be a Nascar fan because the storms held off until exactly when the race was over. We were prepared with rain gear though. Still sat in traffic forever and 5 hours later got home. I spoke to a guy at work that goes every year and he has a back way in and out that we are going to try next year, cause sitting trapped in traffic is just crazy! Until next time...
