First week accomplished!

Well I finished my first week at my new job! What a difference!!! Hatfield Meats has such a pleasant, Christian atmosphere and my co-workers are wonderful. I picked up the work easily which has really impressed my supervisor Wendy and the controller, Steve, is a Dale Jr. fan too! Everyone is happy that I am there and so am I. It feels almost too good to be true....what a far cry from what I weathered for the past seven years. Praise God for this job :)

Art Museum Trip

I went to the Art Museum today after Church with our youth group. I haven't been there since I was 12 years old. I really enjoyed it. My favorite exhibit was the armour and the asian artifacts. Tonight we have David's Christmas party at work and tomorrow I start my new job! Til then...

Rupert

This is my puppy Rupert! He is a year old black lab/pit bull mix. I took Rupy today to get his picture with "Santa Paws" and what a time we had! My poor Rupert is afraid of Santa. Yes, I said afraid. It took all of us a while to get him to get somewhat close to Santa then he took hold of Rupert and they snapped the picture. I think I just traumatized my poor pooch :(

Last day in this chapter...

Friday was my last day at United Electric. I've worked there for seven years. After moving to Hatfield, the commute has been so long and have felt unchallenged among other things. I start a new job at Hatfield Meats on Monday. My last day was emotional, I felt bad leaving but know that I will start a new chapter in my life now. I was sent flowers from a co-worker Michael who I would occasionally give rides to, the other flowers are from another co-worker "Chrissy" who was a really good pal at work and I shall miss him, he would always make me smile or laugh, plus we both dislike Jeff Gordon. I will miss several people there but won't miss the other stuff that contributed me to leave...
